Dextronix provides BIOTRONIK pacing leads that have an unsurpassed legacy of engineering quality. Solia, Siello leads thin 5.6F pacing lead series was designed with ease of implantation and excellent handling in mind. When combined with unique safety mechanisms and BIOTRONIK’s renowned reliability, Solia and Siello pacing leads demonstrate quality. These leads are designed to facilitate MRI access with BIOTRONIK ProMRI, an extensively tested and proven technology which reduces the risks typically associated with an MRI scan.

What type pacing leads do you sell, do you have epicardial or VDD leads?
All implantable pacing leads are endocardial leads only. We do no longer offer VDD or epicardial leads.
Are the implantable pacing leads new and sterile?
Dextronix pacing leads all new and sterile. Each pacing lead set includes the necessary accessories to place/implant the lead including the stylets for ventricular and atrial placement).
How to choose leads for ventricular vs atrial placement?
Active pacing leads come with ventricular stylet pre-inserted. Exchange stylet for atrial placement (included). Select passive lead by placement type.
How can I check if a pacing lead is sterile?
Inside the blister packaging is a penny-sized round dot in one corner that will change color when sterility is compromised.
RED/PURPLE color indicates that the box content is not yet or not anymore sterile.
GREEN color indicates the content is sterile and good for implantation.
Make sure to look at the dot from the front side and not backside which is white.
Does Dextronix manufacture the pacing leads?
Dextronix pacing leads are manufactured by BIOTRONIK exclusively for Dextronix under private label. The system functions, features, performance and quality are identical to human pacing leads.
Can I use the Dextronix pacing leads with other than Dextronix pacemakers?
Our pulse generators will automatically recognize the lead type and configuration of any modern pacing lead with IS-I connector (all current Biotronik, Medtronic, St.Jude Medical, Boston-Scientific, Sorin products are IS-I equipped and acceptable. Warning: Using Pacetronix or brands not listed above in combination with Biotronik/Dextronix devices will void any warranties made by us and are not supported). Proper pacemaker therapy depends on lead quality and it is of outmost importance that the implanted lead is new, un-used and not re-sterilized which may damage the steroid coating.
Do I have to use the suture sleeve or can I place the pacing lead without?
The Dextronix/Biotronik pacing leads have a Suture Sleeve feature which must be used. It is a vital component of the pacing lead. Failure to adequately affix the suture sleeve to the lead, and then failure to affix lead/sleeve to tissue or vein is likely to cause lead dislodgement and loss of function, immediately or over time. The effect is observed as a high pacing threshold. See our warning documents in the Support section.
The Introducer diameter is 6 Fr. For Solia and Siello.
The insulator coating is Silicone/Polyurethane.
The electrode tip is Bipolar, Steriod-Eluting, and Fractal-coated.
