It has been one year since wildfires swept through Maui, causing immense tragedy for many families and their pets. Dextronix immediately sent any support we could to help save the displaced pets and reunite them with their people. We just received a glimpse into what these donations helped to achieve from the Maui Humane Society and we couldn't be more proud to be a part of such an incredible effort. Here is a look at what the MHS has been able to accomplish so far:
- 880+ Animals Taken In: Since the fires, Maui Humane Society has provided refuge for more than 880 animals from Lahaina, offering them safety and veterinary care during a time of uncertainty.
- 220+ Reunions: More than 220 beloved pets have joyfully reunited with their ‘ohanas, thanks to your support enabling our dedicated efforts to bring them back home.
- 220+ Adoptions: Your generosity has enabled Maui Humane Society to facilitate over 220 adoptions, giving these animals a second chance at a loving home.
- 1,500+ Non-shelter Animals Treated: More than 1,500 animals have received essential treatment from Maui Humane Society veterinarians outside the shelter. These animals brought to our emergency hubs and mobile veterinary clinics received critical care in the days following the fires and months after, ensuring their health and well-being.
- 881,950+ Pounds of Food Donated: Your donations have provided food to Maui's pets affected by the fires, offering nourishment and comfort during their time of need.
