2025 Price Increase
Dextronix, Inc., Thomas A Jacob

To our valued customers!

We live in interesting times, so to speak. While we have managed to keep our manufacturing cost stable and so avoid price increases in the past two years, the current economic circumstances are forcing us now to raise prices by 14% (effective April 28, 2025) for select products, and for our customers in the USA only.

Here is where we are:

1) The USD currency is corroding fast and is on a roller coaster vs the EUR. We manufacture our products in France and Germany and depend on stable (and predictable) conversion rates.
2) We are facing steep import tariff for our products from our suppliers in Germany, France currently  at10% (for 90 days) and then 18.6%/17.4% for the foreseeable time.
3) We are possibly facing retaliatory tariffs from Europe when shipping products back to Europe. To minimize the impact, we are a looking at options to increase our operations in France to better serve customers in the EU, UK zone and possibly Asia, Australia, New Zealand.
4) We have not changed, updated our retail price list to adjust for inflation (18%)  of the past 2 years until now.
5) Our website dynamically converts USD prices into other currencies enabling customers to conveniently place orders in their home currency. With the current exchange rate volatilities causing dramatic fluctuations, we decided to implement fixed price rates for EUR, CAD, GBP.. making it easier for customers to buy.
6) We have not increased our prices outside the USA. Over the next days, we will even lower prices for select regions and countries we can serve from our operation in France.
7) We hope to  adjust and lower our prices, should the economic situation relax over the coming months. While tariffs may come and go, some of our products have very long manufacturing cycles and may have incurred import duties visible in the prices long after the tariffs may have disappeared. Please be patient with us.
8) We are actively exploring options to bring the ECG system manufacturing from Germany to the USA, which will create several new jobs in Portland, OR. Here we are working with BizOregon and other other government institutions to help us.

These are challenging times for us. Our team is working very hard to keep prices affordable and products available for our clinical customers in over the 30+ countries.

Sincerely,
Thomas
